Knitting pattern for NorgesDrøm Hat! The hat is knitted in the round in stocking stitch with a pattern from the bottom up.

Sizes: 0-6 (6-12) months // 1-2 (3-4) 5-8 (10-12) years // Adult

Head circumference: 40-42 (44-46) 48-50 (52) 54 (54-56) 56-60 cm

Yarn: LilleMiriam Merino wool 

Bottom color: 50 grams all sizes - Blue Starry Sky

Pattern color 1: 50 grams all sizes - Snow White

Pattern color 2: 50 grams all sizes - Red Velvet (incl. 20 grams for tassel)

Accessories: 1 button and approx. 30 cm round elastic ø 1.5 mm - to attach the tassel

Pin sizes:
0-6 months, 3-4 and 10-12 years:
3 mm and 3.5 mm circular needles 40 cm, and 3.5 mm double pointed needles or 80 cm circular needle for MLT
6-12 months, 1-2 and 5-8 years, adult:
3 mm and 4 mm circular needles 40 cm, and 4 mm double pointed needles or 80 cm circular needle for MLT

Knitting tension: 21 sts stockinette stitch x 30 rows = 10 x 10 cm (4 mm needles)
22 sts stockinette stitch x 30 rows = 10 x 10 cm (needle size 3.5 mm)

Yarn alternatives: Merino wool from Sandnes Garn, Lerke or Merino 22 from Dale Garn, Merino Extra Fine from Drops Design (remember that yarn quantity, size and expression will be slightly different if you choose an alternative yarn - check knitting tension and needle size)
