Knitting pattern for EikeNøtt Kyse ! The kyse is first knitted back and forth and you start at the face, before it is finally joined at the back with circular knitting.

Sizes: Newborn (3-6) 6-9 (12-18) months // 2-3 (3-4) years

Yarn quantity: 50 (50) 50 (50) 100 (100) grams LilleMiriam Merino wool

Needle sizes: 3 mm and 3.5 mm (40 cm, double pointed needles or 80 cm for MLT), crochet hook 3 mm for loop on chin strap

Accessories: 1 button for chin strap (ø 15-16 mm)

Knitting tension: 22 stitches structure x 34 rows in height = 10 x 10 cm (needle size 3.5 mm)

Yarn alternatives: Merino wool from Sandnes Garn, Lerke or Merino 22 from Dale Garn, Merino Extra Fine from Drops Design (remember that yarn quantity, size and expression will be slightly different if you choose an alternative yarn - check the knitting tension and needle size)
