What does superwash mean?

🌿🐑 LilleMiriam Merino Wool is not superwash treated.

This means that the yarn has not been chemically treated to withstand harsh machine washing. The wool fibres have retained their natural structure and have not been subjected to treatments that remove the fibers´scale layer through acid baths, chlorine, or polymer films. The result is a more vibrant yarn that preserves the natural properties of wool – such as good elasticity, high breathability, and a genuine wool feel.

✋🏻 However, the yarn does require a bit more care when washing, handling, and wearing
