Knitting pattern for the StarBliss Cardigan Baby! The Cardigan is worked back and forth in colorwork pattern from the bottom up. If you have some experience, you can work the cardigan in the round instead of back and forth. 

Sizes: 0-3 (3-6) 6-9 (9-12) months

Materials: LilleMiriam Merinoull (8 ply/3 light weight) 50 grams = 125 m [1.8 oz = 137 yds]

Main color: 150 (150) 200 (200) grams

Color 1: 50 grams all sizes

Accessories: 5 buttons ø 15-16 mm, stitch markers

Needles: 3 mm and 4 mm circular 80 cm [US2.5 and 6 32”], and double pointed or circular 80 cm for MLT [32”]
If you want the cardigan to be a little narrower, use 3.5 mm [US4] needles instead of 4 mm [US6] needles – this will give approx. 2-3 cm [¾-1¼”] less width around the body.

Gauge: 21 sts stockinette stitch x 30 rows = 10 x 10 cm [4 x 4”] using needle 4 mm [US6]
22 sts stockinette stitch x 30 rows = 10 x 10 cm [4 x 4”] using needle 3.5 mm [US4]
